More than 27,000 will receive text and/or email notifications when their IL tax refund is on the way!
CHICAGO – Since the launch of Comptroller Topinka’s MyRefund website, more than 27,000 people have signed up to receive notifications by email or text indicating when their Illinois tax refund is on the way. Of those participating, more than 18,000 people have already been notified about their payments.
Greetings! Welcome to the website of the Illinois Office of the Comptroller. This site was recently revamped to make it even easier for taxpayers to access news and information from the office, and “follow the money.” As the state’s Chief Fiscal Officer, the Comptroller is responsible for managing government finances, paying the state’s bills, and watching over public dollars. That role brings the added responsibility of ensuring that all financial information is not only available, but readily accessible to taxpayers – and that is what our new website is all about.

CHICAGO – Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka on Monday launched The Warehouse, a comprehensive online database that puts Local Government financial information and tens of thousands of records at a single location for taxpayer review.
